“I think every day when you’re riding and having fun with friends is a good day of riding” Antoni

Antoni van der Wekken’s enthusiasm and talent blows everybody along the way.. away.

Where do you ride the most? Back home in Holland at Ride the Beast system 2.0 and Burnside Cablepark

Who are your biggest influences? Riders like Domink Hernler, Mitch Langfield, Daniel Grant, James Windsor, Raph, because they all have their own style of riding.
What was your best day riding? That’s a hard question! I think every day when you’re riding and having fun with friends is a good day of riding, especially when you learn new tricks! It’s hard to say what my best day of riding was but pretty sure it was in Thailand last winter….

How important is style to your wakeboarding? Personal style is in my opinion the most important thing, I believe there is no reason to do a trick when you’re not making the trick your own.

Do you think growing up riding in Europe is beneficial? I think it’s a blast to grow up in Europe, especially because cable wakeboarding is way bigger here than anywhere in the world.

What is your plans for traveling The Philippines at CWC, off to Australia, Brisbane for a month or two, don’t know after that, probably home, or to the States.

Six years?Hopefully still riding everyday doing what I love to do most, try to get in all the obstacle only contests, but I hope I still have as much fun riding in 6 years as I do now.
